The server is provided by Game42.com, a finnish gameserver hosting company.

We haven’t yet decided exactly how the server will be configured, but it will certainly be set to hardcore mode.

All the necessary files should be automatically downloaded when you connect to the server, but be warned that the files are quite big (size of all files, including all the maps, is about 550MB). If you prefer to download the needed files before joining the server, you can find a .zip file below, which has all the files needed to run the mod. Just download the file and unzip it to your COD4 installation folder.

Call of Duty: World at war servers updated to 1.7.

Changes are:

• Fixed an MP server crash exploit.
• Fixed a voice chat crash on systems with no default recording device selected.
• Fixed an issue causing erroneous duplicate qport errors.
• Server admins can disable team switching by setting g_allow_teamchange to 0. Players will be restricted to Auto-Assign in team-based gametypes.
• Fixes impure server warnings for custom maps.
• Fixes HTTP redirect for custom maps.

Call of Duty : World at War servers have been updated to 1.6

The patch introduces 3 new multiplayer maps:

• Battery (mp_drum)
• Breach (mp_bgate)
• Revolution (mp_vodka)

World at War serverit päivitetty uusimpaan ja kauneimpaan 1.5 versioon, linkkejä latauspaikkoihin postin lopussa. Custom mapit kusee edelleen, että niitä ei valitettavasti tule vieläkään. Postituslistalla Ryan C. tosin tuumasi tutkivansa asiaa eli mahdollisesti korjaus tulee lähiaikoina.

World at War servers upgraded to newest and greatest 1.5, links to downloads at the end of post. Custom maps are still not working so none of those are coming, but Ryan C. said on Icculus mailing lists that he will take a look at that so hopefully we’ll get fix soon.
